I am an Ocean Engineer, Limnologist, and Oceanographer
I study how water moves in lakes all over the world, and coastal regions in Antarctica. I'm investigating how these environments are affected by and influence our climate with fantastic collaborators from across the world. I use autonomous underwater robots to collect measurements in these hard-to-reach places, and I am always searching for new ways to use these invaluable data-collecting machines.

I am passionate about creating communities of women in STEM and our supporters to reduce the attrition rate of women over the course of our careers. As part of my work with women in STEM I have become a passionate science communicator, engaging in outreach activities with people of all ages and walks of life.

I grew up in Northern New South Wales Australia where I fell in love with the ocean and still spend as much time as I can paddling outrigger canoes/waka. I am now working from home in Brisbane (Australia) as I finish the write-up of my doctoral dissertation. I will complete my dissertation in the second half of 2022.
